For fans who have ever wondered what they’d look like as a mini figurine, or those who would like to preserve that special costume they wear to Wizard World St. Louis Comic Con -- in more than just a photo -- Zero Point 3D has just the thing.
Utilizing the latest 3D printing technology, Zero Point 3D captures thousands of photos of the subject, creating a 3D model, a rough version of which they can see within about 60 seconds. Whatever costume and props the subject has when they enter the photo platform will be captured in the final piece.
Fans can have their scans done for free at the Zero Point 3D booth at Wizard World St. Louis Comic Con (Booth #407). After reviewing their initial 3D sketch, they can choose from three different sizes of figurine: Mini (3-4" tall, $99.99), Mega (4-5" tall, $149.99) or Ultra (5-6: tall, $199.99).
The Zero Point 3D process takes about three to four weeks to complete, at which time the figure is shipped to the fan. For those who are not sure yet if they want one, or want to order one size to start, the scan is kept on file so at any point they can visit the zeropoint3D.com website to order.
Zero Point 3D is dialing up this new technology to a new level of cool with its full body 3D photo booth. Check them out all weekend at America’s Center.
