Lou Ferrigno emerged from the world professional bodybuilding to beat out Arnold Schwartzenegger and other actors for the title role of the INCREDIBLE HULK TV series.
Co-staring with Bill Bixby as Bruce Banner, Ferrigno stayed with the serires for the legnth of its highly succesful five season run. After his Hulk turn, Ferrigno took the staring role in two HERCULES feature films and made guest appearances on THE FALL GUY.
Ferrigno reprised his role as the Hulk in the TV movie THE INCREDIBLE HULK RETURNS. Re-teamed with Bixby, the duo filmed two more Hulk TV movies, culminating in THE DEATH OF THE INCREDIBLE HULK.
Ferrigno has since reprised his role on two separate occasions: as the voice of the Hulk in the INCREDIBLE HULK animated series in 1996 and in the 2008 movie with Ed Norton.
Additionally, Ferrigno had cameo roles as a security guard in both of the HULK movies that have been released to date. More recently, Ferrigno has also appeared in the movie I LOVE YOU, MAN.
