Weston Ochse captured the reading world's attention in 2005 with his Bram Stoker Award-winning, coming of age, dark fantasy novel Scarecrow Gods. Since then his work has appeared in IDW Comics, anthologies, magazines, Writer's Digest How-To Writers Guides. His last two novels, Empire of Salt (Zombies) and Blood Ocean (apocalypse) were published by Abaddon Books, part of U.K.'s Rebellion juggernaut, which somersaulted him onto the world stage. Now nine novels into a dark fiction career, his next novel is SEAL Team 666, coming in December from St. Martin's Press, which tells the tale of a special SEAL team that protects America from supernatural attack. Weston also holds an MFA in Creative Writing and is the brainchild of the Guerrilla Fiction Writing Workshop, which applies Hollywood screenwriting techniques to fiction writing. Weston lives in Arizona within rock throwing distance of Mexico. For fun he races tarantula wasps and watches black helicopters dance along the horizon.
