LIVE UPDATES FROM THE CONVENTION FLOORIt’s a beautiful cloudy morning in Philadelphia here at the Pennsylvania Convention Center! The Expo floor here at Wizard World was rushed on openin. THere was a lull as folks waited for the down pours to stop, and now that they have the geeks, families and avid convention goers are coming out and flooding the entrance gates once again.

The excitement is certainly palpable knowing the panels coming up throughout the day. Over in the celebrity section I was lucky to chat with boxing superstar and playboy model Mia St. John. Make sure you keep her some company today, as well as the other celebrities!

I ran into the “Mark Millar Live via Tape!” Every question I wanted answered throughout the panel was brought up, ranging from his views on the Kick-Ass movie to Mark’s favorite authors (It’s Garth Ennis, I’ll try to catch Garth’s comments on that statement later today.)

The panel could not have ended in a better way, with Mark reciting a monologue from Jaws (a little tribute to the late great Robert Shaw).

I’ll check back in later with more Wizard World Philly excitement, Darth Maul is supposed to meet me for lunch, and he doesn’t appreciate people holding him up.
