The most exciting convention in the Southwest starts today!

After months of anticipation, Wizard World Texas is here. Hot creators like Guest of Honor John Cassaday, special guests Ethan Van Sciver, Terry Moore, Rags Morales, Shane Davis, Sean McKeever, Whilce Portacio, Christos Gage, Matt Wagner and more are all checked in, rested up and ready to greet the thousands of fans waiting to get into the Arlington Convention Center. Wizard World has also brought Chewbacca himself, Peter Mayhew, as well as American Gladiators Fury, Phoenix, Mayhem and Steel.
Through partnering with Texas FearFest, Wizard World Texas will feature celebrity guests Corey Feldman, Danny Trejo and cast reunions for the films Friday the 13th Part V, Halloween 4 and Monster Squad. There will also be a screening for all three films on Friday Night as part of the Friday Night Frights event. On Saturday Night there will be a special concert featuring metal bands Macabre, Michale Graves, FirstJason, The Horrifics and very special guest Eerie Von of Danzig and Samhain.
Wizard World Texas is also playing host to a number of screenings including Futurama: Bender's Game and Spaceballs: The Animated Series.
Lucky contestants at the Hero Initiative Event on Saturday night will get to match the stars in Match Game. Celebrity panelists include Scott Adsit and Dino Stamatopoulos, Ethan Van Sciver, Shane Davis, Terry Moore, Sean McKeever and Phil Hester.
