“Through the Woods” is about a depressed mother trying desperately to reconnect with her estranged daughter. Always one to take the ‘easiest’ path, she turns to her 300 year old, voodoo-practicing witch neighbor in hopes of bringing her daughter to her through supernatural means. But, as is the case with all decisions in life, there are consequences to this magic, and she finds herself trying to undue the spell and finally taking responsibility as a mother.
