|The Infection Spreads To The ATL! ‘The Walking Dead Escape’ Teams With Wizard World Atlanta Comic Con|
Fans Can Attend Both One-of-a-Kind Immersive Zombie Experience And Pop Culture Festival With One Ticket For One Special Price
Atlanta is the proud home base for the hit cable series “The Walking Dead,” and fans of the undead can take advantage of exciting celebrations of all things zombie at two great events: The Walking Dead Escape and Wizard World Atlanta Comic Con, both rolling through town next weekend. And one ticket at one special price gets fans into both.
The Walking Dead Escape, set for Saturday, May 31, at Philips Arena, is a one-of-a-kind immersive zombie obstacle course experience produced by Robert Kirkman’s Skybound Entertainment. The course, which has already thrilled tens of thousands of participants since its debut, allows fans to participate as “Walkers” or “Survivors” as they climb, crawl, and slide their way through various zombie- infected evacuation zones. Those lucky enough to make it to the decontamination zone will have their level of infection assessed and then participate in the event’s Fan Fest.
Wizard World Atlanta Comic Con features “The Walking Dead” stars Norman Reedus, Michael Rooker and Keith Brooks along with comics legend Stan Lee, Karen Gillan (“Doctor Who,” Guardians of the Galaxy), James Marsters (“Buffy The Vampire Slayer,” “Torchwood”), Milo Ventimiglia (“Heroes,” Rocky Balboa) and other celebrities in a pop culture extravaganza, May 30-June 1 at the Georgia World Congress Center. It is the seventh of 16 events currently scheduled in the 2014 series produced by Wizard World, Inc. (OTCBB: WIZD) and will also feature a top-drawer collection of well-known comics artists and writers and a variety of activities, exhibitors and special attractions.
Fans can register for both events at once and enjoy a Walking Dead/Comic Con weekend hassle-free with an exclusive ticket to attend both events, ranging from $48 through $181. Visit wizd.me/TWDEscapeATL or www.thewalkingdeadescape.com to register.
