TORONTO COMIC CON KICKS OFF IN STYLE AT THE MICROSOFT GAME ROOM LAUNCH PARTYToronto Comic Con officially gets underway today at the Direct Energy Centre, but the fun began last night with the Microsoft Launch Party at Pop Nightclub in downtown Toronto. Stars like Costas Mandylor and Betsy Russell from SAW, Christopher Knight and Adrianne Curry, Doug Jones, Magda Apanowicz, Jewell Staite, Erin Gray and others were on hand for the launch event. Guests also tried their hand at the latest from Microsoft Xbox LIVE Arcade, which delivers quality downloadable games at a great value.

And the real fun kicks in today, as the doors open at noon, with a full slate of programming on tap. In addition to special signings all day at the Wizard booth by noted artists like Ty Templeton, Phil Jimenez, Dale Keown, Gail Simone, Cameron Stewart and Adi Granov, there are movie trailer screenings at 3 p.m., a Caprica screening and Q&A at 5 p.m. with Apanowicz and Luciana Carro, and a Q&A with the cast and crew of SAW, including Mandylor and Russell, moderated by SPACE personality Teddy Fry.
