|Tobin Bell is an American actor with a career in film, television and theater spanning three decades. He is perhaps best known for his role as the iconic villain “Jigsaw” in the Saw film series, for which he reprised his role in all seven films. Bell has made guest appearances on numerous award-winning television shows including 24, The Sopranos, The West Wing, Alias, Criminal Minds, E.R. and Seinfeld. In addition to Saw, he has appeared in the films Mississippi Burning, The Verdict, Goodfellas, Sophies Choice, The Firm, In the Line of Fire, the Quick and the Dead, The Road to Eldorado and An Innocent Man. |
He is a lifetime member of the Actors Studio and a member of The Academy of Motion PictureArts and Sciences. His New York theater credits include productions at The Public Theater, Ensemble Studio Theater, The New York Shakespeare Festival, Playwright’s Horizons, Theater for the New City, Second Stage, Theater D' Lys, St. Marks Theater, The Boston Arts Festival and regional theaters. Watch for his 2014-15 films, including Unbelief, Manson Family Vacation, Phantom Halo, In Extremis and Keepers. Bell resides in both New York and Los Angeles.
