Born, raised and educated in Chicago, I majored in illustration and figure drawing at the American Academy of Art. My early influences were comic book and fantasy artists such as Jack Kirby (Fantastic Four and Hulk), Will Eisner (The Spirit), Steve Ditko (Spider Man), Jim Steranko (Nick Fury) and of course, Frank Frazetta.
