Vincent Pastore is famously known for playing Italian-American mobsters in film and television; starting with small parts in GOODFELLAS and CARLITO’S WAY. He has also appeared as a mobster in THE JERKY BOYS, MICKEY BLUE EYES, MAFIA!, REVOLVER, LAS VEGAS, JOHNNY SLADE’S GREATEST HITS, SON OF THE BEACH, WITNESS TO THE MOB, THE PRACTICE. THE DEVIL’S DOMINOES, GOTTI and THE LAST DON.
Pastore’s biggest role to date came in THE SOPRANOS as Salvatore "Big Pussy" Bonpensiero. Pastore’s riveting performance as Tony Soprano’s right hand man led to a memorable season 2 storyline in which he was forced to become a reluctant FBI informant. Despite being killed off at the end of season, Pastore went on to reprise his role a few more times in the series during dream and flashback sequences; as well as in THE SOPRANOS: ROAD TO RESPECT video game.
Aside from his numerous mobster roles, Pastore has also worked on several diverse projects, including THE BASKETBALL DIARIES, JOE’S APARTMENT, LAW & ORDER, SIX WAYS TO SUNDAY, THE HURRICANE, A SLIGHT CASE OF MURDER and RIDING IN CARS WITH BOYS.
In recent years, Pastore has appeared in TRICKS OF A WOMAN, SPLIT ENDS, RETURN TO SLEEPAWAY CAMP, CODE BLUE, STREET BOSS and a guest stint on GENERAL HOSPITAL. He is also the host of THE WISEGUY SHOW on Sirius XM Radio.
Pastore will also be appearing in several upcoming films, including CHICAGO BLUES, THE OCEAN, JOHNNY BLUE, PROFANE LANGUAGE and RED HERRING.
