Sheryl Steines grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and graduated with a degree in English from Wright State University in Ohio. After reading Nancy Drew mysteries at seven years old, she was determined to be a writer. But instead Sheryl worked on Plan B—writing technical manuals for a computer company and for a credit card company until having children.
After pursuing a career in interior design, it became obvious that the continuous nagging feeling was drawing Sheryl toward pursuing her dream to become a writer.
