(Artist - Superman: Earth One; Superman/Batman; Final Crisis: Rage of the Red Lanterns) | |  | |  A high profile DC artist since at least 2005, Davis worked on smaller venue titles such as Robin and the Marvel Adventures Spider-Man title in the very early days of his career as a penciller. After some fill-in issues of Batman, Davis received much exposure illustrating the title's 25th Annual with writer Judd Winick featuring the return story of Jason Todd.
After this, in 2007 Davis illustrated the first issue of the JLA/JSA crossover storyline "The Lightning Saga," and then went on to be the penciller for Superman/Batman for issues #44-49. In 2008, Davis was tapped by writer Geoff Johns to be the artist for a Final Crisis tie-in one-shot entitled Rage of the Red Lanterns, which featured a lead-up to a story in the main Green Lantern title and its 2009 crossover Blackest Night. Davis' next project will be with writer J. Michael Straczynski on an original graphic novel starring Superman entitled Superman: Earth One. | | | | | | | | |
