 Samantha Leriche-Gionet “Boum” | |  | | (Artist - Boumeries) | |  | |  Samantha Leriche-Gionet (aka Boum) is a 26 year-old freelance filmmaker, animator, comic artist and illustrator who lives and works in Montreal, Canada. Her animated shorts have been screened in over sixty festivals worldwide, and her comics and illustrations have been published in collectives such as CFSL, Merure, ERRI, COLORS Charity Artbook, Sugar Ninjas and Domestic Etch. More recently, she has been dabbling in the webcomic world with her tri-weekly journal comic Boumeries, where she talks about her life sharing a four-room flat with her programming partner Pierre-Luc, working at home, juggling with everyday chores and drawing, and having absurd dreams in the meantime.
She enjoys the company of rabbits, snowy days, cheese, retro video games, and sporting weird hairdos. | | | | | | | | |
