Welcome back to the second installment on the ins and outs of Wizard World Philly!
The clouds are out, and the number of people are really starting to increase, adding to the overall exciting atmosphere. I sat in on the Ray Park Q&A hoping to get some light shed on the new G.I. Joe movie, and I was not disappointed.
Ray Park, though a little jet lagged, could not have been more thrilled to sit in and talk to a completely full room of fans. He covered a wide range of topics, including his upcoming role playing Snake Eyes (Ray says his G.I. counterpart is very true to the comics, though no comment was made about a timber wolf appearance).
There was some talk about an Iron Fist movie, but it was mostly about how nothing really came out of it. Aside from the disappointment over no Iron Fist movie, the audience was charmed by how “down to earth” Ray really is. He also discussed his love for kung fu movies (he started an underground kung fu club in high school), as well as his aspirations of one day owning a pet tiger; that is until the whole Siegfried incident….
Anyway, check back in later for an update, I’ve got stars to talk to.
