Rahsan Ekedal

Rahsan Ekedal is a rising star artist whose dark, richly-detailed work can be seen in the hot new relaunch of Solomon Kane from Dark Horse Comics, written by the legendary Bruce Jones (The Incredible Hulk), and in Top Cow's terrifying new psychological horror series Echoes, written by Joshua Hale Fialkov (Tumor, Punks).

After studying illustration under Charles Pyle at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, Rahsan hit the comics world in 2007 with a series of gritty Warhammer runs, written by Dan Abnett & Ian Edginton for Boom! Studios. Rahsan's art was next seen in the critically-acclaimed Dark Horse horror series The Cleaners: Absent Bodies, written by Mark Wheaton (The Messengers, Friday the 13th) and Joshua Hale Fialkov, followed by The Crazies: Ogden Marsh for Top Cow Productions.

Rahsan is a frequent contributor to the Dark Horse revival of the famed Creepy anthology, illustrating twisted tales by Andrew Foley and famed horror novelist Joe R. Lansdale. He also occasionally illustrates book covers (Mark Wheaton's Four Nails in the Coffin series), and dabbles in storyboards and concept art for film (The Wave; The Nightcrew). Rahsan lives in Los Angeles.
