Thomas Jane made his film debut in 1986 in an Indian movie called PADAMATI SANDHYA RAGAM. From there he went on to supporting roles in BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER, AT GROUND ZERO, HIGH TIDE, THE CROW: CITY OF ANGELS, FACE/OFF, BOOGIE NIGHTS, THE VELOCITY OF GARY and THE THIN RED LINE.
Following bigger roles in DEEP BLUE SEA, MAGNOLIA, JUNKED and JONNI NITRO, Jane segued into leading roles in 61*, EDEN, ORIGINAL SIN, THE SWEETEST THING and DREAMCATCHER.
Jane is best known for his starring turn as the lead character in the 2004 adaptation of Marvel Comics’ THE PUNISHER. In preparation for the role, Jane became a fan of the character and even provided his voice for THE PUNISHER video game. He also co-wrote and produced two comic book series, BAD PLANET and ALIEN PIG FARM.
In 2007, Jane directed his first film, DARK COUNTRY, which will be released later this year. Jane has also recently appeared in the films THE MIST, MUTANT CHRONICLES, GIVE ‘EM HELL, MALONE and KILLSHOT. He is currently starring in the hit HBO comedy series, HUNG. He is also slatted to appear in THE DEVIL’S COMMANDOS and EVILSEEK.
