Marv is the writer-creator of Blade, the Vampire Hunter, which has been turned into three hit movies starring Wesley Snipes, as well as a TV series. Marv was the co-creator of the New Teen Titans comics series, which became a runaway hit show on the Cartoon Network. Marv has also been Editor-in-Chief at Marvel Comics, senior editor at DC Comics and founding editor of Disney Adventures magazine. While at Marvel, Wolfman wrote lengthy runs of Amazing Spider-Man, Fantastic Four and Doctor Strange. His best-received work was The Tomb of Dracula, a fledgling horror comic which Wolfman turned into a rich, complex piece of high gothic, well matched with the moody penciling of Gene Colan. Taking Bram Stoker's basic story, Wolfman created his own vampire mythology and introduced a set of new characters, including Blade.
