7:00-8:40PM WIZARD WORLD EXCLUSIVE ADVANCE SCREENING “BAD KIDS OF CRESTVIEW ACADEMY” (ROOM 343)
Bad Kids of Crestview Academy is set to release Friday the 13th of January, 2017 in select theaters nationwide, OnDemand, and Digital HD. But Wizard World New Orleans Comic Con is the only place where you will get a chance for a sneak peek, advance screening of the highly anticipated action/adventure, dark comedy, thriller film directed by Ben Browder. The screenplay was written by Barry “Bazz” Wernick and James R. Hallam. It is based on Wernick and Matthew Spradlin's best-selling graphic novel “Bad Kids Go 2 Hell,” the second installment in the Bad Kids comic book and movie franchise. The film stars Sammi Hanratty, Drake Bell, Sean Astin, Gina Gershon, Sufe Bradshaw, with Cameron Deane Stewart and Browder reprising their roles from the first movie in the franchise. Newcomer Bad Kids joining the cast include Colby Arps, Sophia Taylor Ali, Erika Daly, Matthew Frias, Ali Astin, and Ashlyn McEvers.

It's four years later, and a new group of students has been placed in Saturday detention at the infamous and prestigious Crestview Academy. When Siouxsie, sophomore “undercrust,” crashes the party to avenge her sister's death, a Saturday detention reserved for the privileged seniors of Crestview Academy turns into a date in hell. It's not long before a naïve pussycat lover, gay drug dealer, smokin' hot preacher's daughter, squeaky-clean senator's son, and the uninvited younger outsider find themselves locked-up in school with no way out, wondering who (or what) has set them up. Hilarity and suspense ensue while each “bad kid” pits one against the other, and one by one each falls victim to absurdly gruesome “accidents” while trying to escape. (Based on the best-selling graphic novel sequel “Bad Kids Go 2 Hell.”)
