Royal Hoax is an alternative band from Detroit, MI who currently lives in Nashville and serves a deeper purpose through music. In 2009, RH created an organization called 'Rock 4 Hunger' where they would play 10 free high school shows each year and host canned food drives at their shows and donate them to a local food bank. RH also donates 15-20% of their booking fees to the Colleges choice of food bank. Currently, they sit at approximately 73,000 meals total, with 13,000 of them here in Tennessee with Second Harvest Food Bank. Join RH for a panel discussing everything above as well as local school systems going through budget cuts in their art & music programs, and what we can do to get music back into schools!

6) Conducting preliminary research and putting your infrastructure together.

2:00 – 2:45PM AN INKING PANEL WITH DREW GERACI: THE VETERAN INKER TALKS ABOUT HIS CAREER AND DEMONSTRATES INKING TECHNIQUES! (ROOM 208)
Perhaps the most mysterious of the creative skills involved with making comics, inking can make or break the effectiveness of individual illustrations and entire comics stories. Highly accomplished, veteran inker Drew Geraci talks with Danny Fingeroth (How to Create Comics From Script to Print) about his incredible career and about the craft of inking. Drew will also give a demonstration of how he inks! 2014 marks Drew’s 20th year as a comics professional. He’s worked on high-profile DC projects such as JLA, 52 (the original weekly), various Batman-related titles, Infinite Crisis and Final Crisis. For Marvel, he’s inked Thor, Captain America and the Iron Man 3 Prelude. For Disney Publishing Worldwide, he’s produced art based on the films Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Guardians of the Galaxy.
