This panel will be a demonstration of the steps taken to bring an idea from script to screen. Cook will begin with a short story of how he became an animator back in the late 1970s and then describe the different departments in an animation studio and what they do to move the development of the cartoon forward. Versa Studios Media is an up and coming production company who is in the midst of making their second full length feature, The Three. Our movie is the first movie to explore three types of alien species: insectoids, reptilians, and the greys. We have already completed 25 minutes of our film and are using it as a proof of concept. The proof of concept was entirely self-funded thanks to our film’s successful one-month Indiegogo campaign. Our producers now plan to tour with these segments and seek additional investment to bring the entirety of the film to life. In our panel, we'll discuss "The Three," which stars Lew Temple (The Walking Dead, Devil's Rejects) and Robert Pralgo (Vampire Diaries, Taken 3). We’ll also present our trailer and some clips from the film, discuss the ups and downs to being new filmmakers in the industry and answer any questions you may have for us pertaining to the film or pertaining to film making. A psychologists perspective on the impact a zombie apocalypse has on the psychological well-being on the individual and society. Who is prepared and who isn't when the time comes? You can have all of the cutting moon swords and can of beans in the world but if you aren't psychologically healthy the group will shoot you in the leg and leave you behind so they can escape. A discussion of the characters and their sanity as well as strategies to be prepared and survive the walking dead.

In The CW’s quirky and mysterious new iZombie, Rose McIver stars as Liv Moore, an exuberant rosy-cheeked medical student, who, after being attacked during a zombie feeding frenzy, unexpectedly turns into the newly undead. To blend in and appear human to her family and friends, Liv takes a job at the morgue where she must snack on the brains of murder victims in order to survive. Liv finds that with every brain she consumes, she retains a portion of the victim’s memories and sees the crime scene through their eyes. Working with a detective, she finds that helping solve murders of those who are actually dead breathes new life into her undead existence!
