 Polaris | |  | | (Fan Group) | |  | |  Polaris is a weekend long celebration of science fiction and fantasy. We are a convention running strong for 26 years, with celebrities and hundreds of hours of events and programming for every type of fan.
Polaris features Q&A’s, autographs, photos, book readings and signings, costumers and cosplay, dealers and exhibitors, dances and karaoke, room parties and fan fun, a Writers’ Workshop, gaming, models and art shows, and the 5th Annual Constellation Awards. Polaris is an intimate event which puts fans up close with their favourite celebrities in a close and casual atmosphere. As well as our long history of actor and author highlights, the Polaris community has been a strong supporter of local charities. We are in our 5th year to support Gilda’s Club of Greater Toronto with our Charity Auction, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars.
