Paul Hanley
(Artist - Godzilla: Kingdom of Monsters; Godzilla: Gangsters and Goliaths; Buckaroo Banzai)
Paul HanleyPaul Hanley is an Austin-based filmmaker and writer/artist. He’s probably best known for making the anarchic stop-motion-animated feature film VIVA THE ‘NAM, which premiered to a sold-out crowd at the Alamo Drafthouse in 2010. As an artist, Paul has pencilled for Moonstone Books’ BUCKAROO BANZAI. He has a continuing relationship with UK-based Obverse Books, doing covers for their prose collections (including the popular DOCTOR WHO sort-of-spinoff series, IRIS WILDTHYME). He also does covers for IDW’s various GODZILLA comics, and worked as a colorist on Austin’s legendary “living comic book,” THE INTERGALACTIC NEMESIS. He currently writes and draws the feature “Commission Impossible” for CHAMPION! Magazine.
