Matthew Rosenberg is a comic writer and one half of the writing studio known as Ashcan Press. He is the writer of such comics as INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, the meta-crime comic which is featured in Image Comics brilliant Five Ghosts, the post apocalyptic anthology series MENU which can be read for free on, the self published biker/revenge book THE URN, and TWELVE REASONS TO DIE, the comic he makes with Rza & Ghostface Killah of the Wu-Tang Clan.

Born and raised in New York City, Matthew is the child of two much more successful writers and the little brother of one moderately more successful writer. He has been knocked unconscious 3 times, been to 47 of the 50 United States, was partially the inspiration for a slasher film his mom wrote, has been put in handcuffs twice but never arrested, eats meat but feels really bad about it, hates bars, owns 2 life-size yodas, once wore shorts for 365 days straight, is scared of cats, shattered his wrist when he was 16 and didnt tell anyone for more than a day and now it makes a weird popping noise, prefers music in basements, had guns pulled on him twice, is very funny and fiercely loyal but a mediocre friend, has put out more than 25 records. hopes to one day own everything Alan Moore ever published, doesnt have a driver's license, played Joe the policeman on the What's Going Down episode of That's My Momma.
