He began writing freelance before he graduated high school. He scripted three, 10-page short horror stories for Moonstone Books' "Monsters" anthology series.
His first miniseries, "Cisco Kid: Gunfire & Brimstone," was also published through Moonstone. Later, Len was invited to write an addendum to the Cisco Kid series - a two-volume crossover event, "Cisco Kid vs. Wyatt Earp," in which Len partnered with old school legend, writer Chuck Dixon, and Rex Mundi co-creator, artist EricJ, to tell an epic tale of the American West from multiple points-of-view.
In the summer of 2008, Len's webcomic, "Chicago:1968, and a short list of the Internet's elite were chosen to spearhead the launch of Image Comics' first bold moves into the untamed world of webcomics. "Chicago:1968" is an independently produced historical drama, updated weekly on Jim Valentino's Shadowline website (shadowlinecomics.com). Shadowline is an imprint of Image Comics.
