Le Beau Underwood began inking professionally in 1999, inking the lead story and backup for Thundergirls. Soon after, he became the protg of former Marvel Comics Art Director, Don Perlin.
After honing his skills with various small press publishers (including a close opportunity with CrossGen Comics), he was noticed by master inkers, Danny Miki and Jonathan Glapion, who further taught and molded his inking skills while he was a member of Crimelab Syndicate.
In 2011, Le Beau inked for several publishers: Marvel Enterprises (Incredible Hulk, Venom) Image Comics (Haunt) and DC Comics, inking half of Static Shock #1 over the pencils of Scott McDaniel and Khary Randolph on covers.
Since then, he has established himself at DC Comics on a wide variety of titles, such as Static Shock, Batwing, Arrow, Justice League Dark, and Injustice.
He is currently the ongoing inker on Stormwatch, written by the legendary Jim Starlin and penciled by Yvel Guichet.
