Ken F. LevinKen F. Levin, dubbed “rep to the comics stars” by Marvel EIC Joe Quesada, occupies a unique position as a major player on the gateway between the comics industry and Hollywood. Levin’s talent management company, NightSky, Inc., has worked with a select list of top comics creators for more than 18 years. From 2001 to 2012, Levin’s law firm was lead counsel to Neil Gaiman in the federal litigation Gaiman vs McFarlane. Levin also co-founded FIRST COMICS, the first successful comic book company since Marvel, and has directed the company’s recent relaunch into publishing. And Levin has been instrumental in negotiating, setting up and/or producing some of the comics industry’s most anticipated comics based films, including WANTED; currently in the pipeline Levin has WANTED 2 (at Universal), THE BOYS (at Paramount, which Levin is executive producing), RED STAR (at Warner Bros. with Levin as Executive Producer), PREACHER (at SONY, Levin is Executive Producer), and THE SCRIBBLER, based on NightSky client Dan Schaffer’s screenplay adapting his THE SCRIBBLER graphic novel (currently in post-production, which Levin and Gabe Cowan of New Artists Alliance are producing).
