Julie Staples Peter Dawes


Julie Staples writes under the pseudonym Peter Dawes, and is best known as the author of The Vampire Flynn Series. Her serial story, A Maker and His Child appears on the BloodTide e-zine and short Lost Highway has been featured in the Nocturnal Embers anthology. While primarily a novelist, she has also written stories for the anthology Red Phone Box, featuring the work of Warren Ellis, Dan Wickline, and more.

Both Staples and her partner in crime, Lisa Canzoneri (under the pen name JR Wesley), run Crimson Melodies publishing and hail from the Philadelphia area. Crimson Melodies is a micro press which specializes in novels, short-stories, visual poetry, and select knick-knacks, most of which are centered around the paranormal, supernatural, preternatural, and macabre.
