Joe is a primarily self-taught artist, who has studied film and game design. His first published work was in 2008, with the series, A Dummy’s Guide to Danger: Lost at Sea from Viper Comics. From there, he worked on the science fiction epic, Serpo, for Devil’s Due, and then the street level superhero tale, We The People for Outlaw Entertainment. He began work for Image Comics in 2009 with a Dodge’s Bullets short story in Dynamo 5, followed by Notorious and Existence 3.0.
In addition to comics, he also works as a video game artist; having worked on titles for the Nintendo DS, iPhone, Wii & Xbox platforms as an animator, 3d & concept artist. He resides in the Dallas area with his wife & son. |  | | | | | |  | |
