Rombergerís multimedia collaboration with his son Crosby, Post York (Uncivilized Books, 2012), is nominated for an Eisner award for Best Single Issue (or One Shot). 7 Miles a Second, Rombergerís collaboration with Marguerite Van Cook and the late David Wojnarowicz (Fantagraphics, 2013), was a New York Times bestseller. He also drew the graphic novels 20/20 Visions, Bronx Kill and Aaron and Ahmed for DC/Vertigo.
Romberger is also a fine artist whose pastel drawings are in the Metropolitan Museum of Art and other public collections; and he writes for Publisherís Weekly and the pop culture site Hooded Utilitarian. He attended SVA and Columbia University and he is currently completing a Masters Degree at CUNY Graduate Center. He resides in New York City.
