James C. Burns won CHARACTER OF THE YEAR at the 2010 Spike VGA awards for his portrayal of 'sgt. Frank Woods, the badass lead character from the record setting video game Call Of Duty: Black Ops. His character was the first to be recorded with groundbreaking FULL PERFORMANCE CAPTURE: in which the actors voice, facial expressions and full body movements are all recorded at the same time. The result is a realism that rivals film and television.

James is also recognized for his recurring role as the mysterious Vaughn on General Hospital as well as dozens of other film and tv appearances. His tv credits include Burn Notice Cold Case, CSI: NY, My Own Worst Enemy, Criminal Minds, The Forgotten, Monk and others. His film appearances range from blockbusters like Michael Bays Transformers to working with the legendary film director Werner Herzog on My Son My Son: What Have Ye Done. His film festival appearances include Late Autumn (Toronto), Miss Wonton (Sundance), Diamond Men (Hamptons) and Expired (Sundance & Cannes).

James can be seen in 3 films set for release in 2011, they are 'silver Falls a paranormal thriller, All Together Now a coming of age comedy, and Dead Season an apocalyptic zombie flick. Additionally, a comic book based his Sgt. Woods character is in development and expected to be out late 2011.
