The Honky Tonk Man is a former WWE superstar and professional wrestling legend. During the mid 1980s, the Honky Tonk Man was one of the biggest villains in professional wrestling. As a singles wrestler, he battled superstars on television on a weekly basis. He wrestled at Wrestlemania 3, 4, 5 and 6. The Honky Tonk Man holds the distinction of being the longest reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion of all time 14 months and 27 days. Honky Tonk Man was managed by The Mouth of South Jimmy Hart. Later in his WWE career, he competed as one half of the acclaimed tag team Rhythm N Blues with Greg The Hammer Valentine. Honky Tonk Man has starred in numerous movies and television commercials. After a brief stint in World Championship Wrestling in the early 1990s, the Honky Tonk Man returned to WWE as a manager and television commentator. Honky Tonk Man competed in the 1998 and the 2001 WWE Royal Rumbles. Today, usually as a fan favorite, the Honky Tonk Man continues to wrestle and make appearances for wrestling companies around the world.
