JUST ANNOUNCED! GUEST OF HONOR– MARC SILVESTRI
Wizard World is pleased to announce that Marc Silvestri has just been confirmed as Guest of Honor for the Los Angeles stop on the Wizard World Tour!
Silvestri came out of the gate swinging by penciling ultra-successful runs on Uncanny X-Men and Wolverine in the late '80s. His sketchy yet fluid style caught on almost immediately and rocketed him to the top of Marvel pencilers until several prominent artists of the early '90s broke off to form their own comic company, Image Comics. As an Image co-founder, he rocked the comic world with creations such as Cyberforce, Witchblade and The Darkness with his Top Cow imprint, and now serves as the Cow's current publisher.
The recently released X-Men: Messiah Complex one-shot with Marvel super-scribe Ed Brubaker kicked off the much anticipated mega-crossover featuring everyone's favorite mutants. This project and others are part of unprecedented creative joint venture between Marvel and Top Cow where talent from the Cow's stable will get to work on Marvel characters.
