Celebrating its fifth year, the Great Allentown Comic Con is planning two big events this year. The first is a one-day Summer Show set for July 12 at Merchant’s Square, and the other is a two-day “Mega” show on Nov. 15-16.

Wizard World Philadelphia Comic Con is pleased to help spread the word, as GACC will be promoting the appearances of three key guests, including Austin St. John, who portrayed Jason Lee Scott in all of his incarnations, starting with “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” and ending with “Power Rangers: Wild Force.”

The tandem of Nicholas Brendan, a familiar face for longtime Wizard World fans, and Rebekah Isaacs, who are working together on Season 10 of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer comic books, will also attend GACC. It is believed that it will be the first time that Nicholas and Rebekah have even met in person, let alone had a panel together.

In addition, GACC has started adding more Cosplay events, and have a contest planned with awards for Best Female, Best Male, and Best Group Cosplay. The contest will be judged by renowned Cosplayers Nicole Marie Jean, Riddle (star of Syfy’s “Heroes of Cosplay”) and Marie Grey.

GACC will also have panels on animation (another guest attending voiced both Mojo Jojo from Powerpuff Girls, but also Ghostface in the Scream Films), fan films, drawing, and even a multiplayer video gaming tournament running most of the day.
