Geoff Beckett Jr.
(Founder and CEO of Shocker Toys)
Geoff Beckett Jr. Founder and CEO of Shocker Toys, Geoff Beckett Jr. was a toy collector and construction worker by trade with an idea for a block figure type toy (Shockini) which gave the company its start into the action figure world. Before companies started connecting with the older action figure collectors, Beckett started speaking directly to them and showing off the creation of his toys, start to middle to finish.

Beckett has seen his company acquire some of the most coveted toy licenses in the business, including Metalocalypse, and the multi-licensed Indie Spotlight line, as well as the creation of several original designer toys, including Shockinis and their newest Mallows. From Shockinis to a new 6” comic themed action figure line which rivals other 6" scale toylines things have heated up for Beckett’s company, with more new toylines like Mallows and obscure but highly sought after licensed products on the way. Even with delays and problems Beckett has pushed ahead to turn the action figure world up a notch and continues to do so.

Beckett is the first person to battle online with unseen faces and anonymous users to defend his creations which is a role a company CEO rarely plays, and one that’s made him a controversial person in the mainstream action figure world. But despite his quick to strike reputation it seems this is the determination of one man to be what we have all dreamed about, a toymaker.
