Gary Shipman

EISNER AWARD NOMINEE

Gary is a self taught professional artist whose work has been published by Disney Publishing, Image Comics, Caliber Press, Alias Comic and Zondervan.

Gary was born in 1966 and his original art work is collected worldwide, some highlights include being nominated for Eisner, Harvey, and Russ Manning Awards for the comic book series Pakkins’ Land. Gary has also worked on the development of several animated projects. And has been exploring different styles of art for more than 29 years with no formal art training. Gary has been married for 23 years to Rhoda. They have 3 lovely children, Shoshana, Isaac and Tavita.
