|Games People Play: Magic: The Gathering Tournament Highlights Full Weekend Of Gaming At Wizard World St. Louis Comic Con|
Table and card gaming have a home at Wizard World St. Louis Comic Con, March 22-24, at America’s Center, with a Magic: The Gathering tournament highlighting a full three days of activity.
Wizard World has teamed with Game Nite and Mr. D’s Gaming & Cards for learn to play sessions, tournaments, a game library and more.
The card game schedule, hosted by Mr. D’s, includes free “Learn to Play Kaijudo” events throughout the weekend as well as Magic Open Booster Drafts throughout the weekend and the Main Event on Saturday (registration 9 a.m., start time 10 a.m.).
The table top schedule, hosted by Game Nite, runs from 3-9 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m - 4 p.m. on Sunday, with a variety of “Learn To Play” events in three-hour blocks. More than 20 games are available, with a “Small World” tournament capping Saturday’s activity (7-10 p.m.).
Hardcore gamers will appreciate the “Game Library,” hosted by game Nite, with more than 100 games available for attendees to “check out,” much like a library book, free with a picture ID.
