Michael Turner Aspen Comics Founder; Soulfire Penciler *Tentative
Though he began as a background artist for Cyberforce under Marc Silvestri’s tutelage, Turner would soon make a permanent leap into the comic book spotlight. Known for gritty brutes and breath-taking babes, Turner delivered the goods on stellar covers for Identity Crisis and Supergirl and killer interiors on Superman/ Batman. As president of Aspen Comics, he dazzles with his creator-owned art, featuring the pin-up worthy hotties of Soulfire and Fathom. Turner added to his list of masterpieces as the cover artist on Marvel’s headline grabbing Civil War and DC’s relaunch of Justice League of America as well as working with super-scribe Jeph Loeb on a yet to be announced project for Marvel.
