At 26, Farley Katz is the youngest staff cartoonist for The New Yorker where he regularly publishes cartoons (over seventy to date). He spent two years as assistant cartoon editor for the magazine where he logged countless hours reading and editing captions for the New Yorker's caption contest.
This September, his first book “Journal of a Schoolyard Bully” will be released on St. Martin’s Press, with a sequel to follow Fall 2012. Currently he's writing and drawing the web cartoon “Kids are Dumb” (kidsaredumb.com). He's published cartoons in MAD Magazine and The Harvard Lampoon. Raised in San Antonio, TX, Farley now lives in New York.
