Video gaming always draws a crowd at Wizard World events, and a big-time event like the Hamilton, Ontario-based eSports Championship: Elite Series will give Toronto-area gamers a chance to prove they can be among the Elite at Toronto Comic Con with two full days of tournaments, April 14-15.
ESC: The Elite Series will hold Two Xbox gaming Tournaments throughout the day including Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (prizes sponsored by Arcade Whips), and Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition (prizes sponsored by GDLK).
The ESC: Elite Series at Wizard World Tournaments do not require an invitation, or qualification. All players in good standing are welcome to participate. Video Game players must have a Player ID (available through www.ESCelite.com) to play any of the events. Registration can be done on site.
Registration is each day from 10 - 11 a.m. Saturday’s gaming is from 10 a.m - 6 p.m., and on Sunday it will be held from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Prizes are awarded to respective winners of the individual tournaments. Marshals shall have final say on the determination of the winners. Full Tournament rules can be downloaded at the ESC: The Elite Series website.
