COSTUME CONTEST RULES:

1. Use common sense. Your safety, the safety of the other contestants, the safety of our judges and the safety of our audience is more important to us than your costume.
2. This contest is a family oriented event. Please keep all costumes to a “PG-13″ rating. (No nudity, etc.)
3. Store bought costumes will cost you points. Please disclose which parts are purchased on your entry form. (If you lie about it, we’ll know. We always know.)
4. You must have purchased an entry for the Convention in order to enter/be on stage for the costume contest.
5. Only one entry per person (or group) and you must be present to win. (We hate mailing prizes.)
6. All weapons and props must conform with a.) the Comic Con rules, b.) the convention center’s rules, and c.) local laws concerning carrying a weapon. If in doubt, don’t do it.
7. We are not responsible for the judge’s lack of knowledge of your character. If you think that your costume might be obscure to the “general public,” then please bring a reference photo.
8. Your costume cannot use smoke, pyrotechnics of any kind, or any kind of projectiles that leave the costume.
9. Wizard Entertainment and Philadelphia Comic Con reserves the right to modify, update, or amend the rules at any time… just in case.

The Philly Zombie Beach Party is a 21+ event so please be sure to bring your I.D. No I.D. means no club - which means no Beach Party for you. Then you'll be a very sad zombie indeed.

Come dressed as a zombie going to the beach! Basic makeup may be available but it is suggested that you provide your own just to be sure you have some. For tips and ideas on how to look like a zombie go here.

There will be prizes for the best beach zombies! So go all out with your outfit! You may go home with something other than another zombie!

Makeup artists from Terror Behind The Walls will be on hand at the Philly Zombie Beach Party where you can have a professional makeup artist do your zombie makeup for you. If you do decide to have one of them do your makeup for you we highly suggest that you get in as early as possible since there is always a line for the makeup artists.
