COSTUME CONTEST RULES:
1. Use common sense. Your safety, the safety of the other contestants, the safety of our judges and the safety of our audience is more important to us than your costume.
2. This contest is a family oriented event. Please keep all costumes to a PG-13″ rating. (No nudity, etc.)
3. Store bought costumes will cost you points. Please disclose which parts are purchased on your entry form. (If you lie about it, well know. We always know.)
4. You must have purchased an entry for the Convention in order to enter/be on stage for the costume contest.
5. Only one entry per person (or group) and you must be present to win. (We hate mailing prizes.)
6. All weapons and props must conform with a.) the Comic Con rules, b.) the convention centers rules, and c.) local laws concerning carrying a weapon. If in doubt, dont do it.
7. We are not responsible for the judges lack of knowledge of your character. If you think that your costume might be obscure to the general public, then please bring a reference photo.
8. Your costume cannot use smoke, pyrotechnics of any kind, or any kind of projectiles that leave the costume.
9. Wizard Entertainment and Philadelphia Comic Con reserves the right to modify, update, or amend the rules at any time just in case.
