Peters started his career off by taking acting and modeling classes in Flint, MI, after his family moved to nearby Grand Blanc Township when he was 14. At the age of 15, Peters won some acting awards at a talent competition in Florida where a prominent photographer suggested that he get an agent, and fast. At the age of 15, Peters and his mother moved to Hollywood in hopes of becoming a successful actor. Peters is known for appearances in the Disney Channelís show Phil of the Future as Philís geeky friend Seth Wosmer, the movie adaptation of the comic book Kick-Ass, MGMís Sleepover, a starring role in the ABC series The Days, and guest appearances on The Mentalist, House and Monk. He also starred as Luke Cooper, the nephew of Michael Scott on NBCís The Office. Peterís most recent supporting role has been in the first three seasonís of FXís critically acclaimed drama series, American Horror Story, and in this seasonís American Horror Story: Freak Show.
Peterís appeared in X-Men: Days of Future Past in which he starred as Quicksilver. He will be reprising his role in the new upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse.
