|Erik Evensen is a graphic novelist, designer, illustrator, and teacher -- sometimes all at once. His work has been called “innovative and groundbreaking” by Graphic Novel Reporter, “a thrill” by Ain’t It Cool News, and “literate and entertaining” by Geeks of Doom.|
Erik is the author/illustrator of the Xeric-winning 2007 graphic novel, Gods of Asgard, the 2013 graphic novel, The Beast of Wolfe’s Bay, and the 2003 web comic, Erik’s Sketchbook Diary. With James Bucky Carter, he is the co-author/illustrator of the educational Super-powered Word Study. Additionally, his comics work has appeared in smaller portions in Image Comics’ Invincible, Grounded, and Fear Agent, Terminal Press’ Zombie Bomb!, and Jetpack Press’ Johnny Raygun.
A New Hampshire native, Erik studied fine art at the University of New Hampshire and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, and holds an MFA in Design from Ohio State University.
