Welcome to the latest installment of our coverage on Wizard World Philly! In case you were wondering, I did in fact make up the nickname “Bomb Squad” for Dynamite’s panel, which leads me to what is important: Dynamite’s Q&A with their most popular artists and writers.
I sat and listened to the likes of Mike Lilly, Michael Wright, Jeff Katz, Garth Enis, Joe Michael Linsner and other. Separate, they are the backbone of Dynamite Comics and their five years of promoting creative expression as well as telling compelling, spectacular tales. But together, they are a bunch of guys who love joking around and talking about the inner workings of Dynamite.
Though every artist and writer had much to contribute to the panel, it was Howard Chaiken who stole the show. His combination of a professional attitude and sarcastic view of his tenure in comics had the audience’s attention every time he spoke. I had a very enjoyable time with Dynamite and look forward to their future projects. Stay posted for more convention coverage. See you soon, Captain America is here and I need my picture with him.
