In the past few years, Doug Jones has made a name for himself by his mesmerizing performances under heavy make up. From his role as Abe Spaien in “Hellboy” to his critically acclaimed turn as the Faun in Guillermo del Toro Oscar-winning Spanish language “Pan's Labyrinth”. Jones has captivated audiences worldwide.
More recently, Jones has impressed movie-goers as the Silver Surfer in “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer”. While Laurence Fishburne portrayed the character's voice, Jones brought the Surfer’s physical form to life while remaining true to the source material.
Jones also returned as Abe Sapien in “Hellboy II: The Golden Army”, in addition to portraying two other roles in the film: the Angel of Death and The Chamberlain.
Jones is also rumored to be playing more creatures in Del Toro's planned two-part adaptation of “The Hobbit”.
