David Server is a comic book writer based out of Los Angeles, CA, as well as an entertainment manager and film and television producer.
David is most prominently known as the co-creator and co-writer of Ape Entertainment's Freakshow alongside Jackson Lanzing and artist Joe Suitor. David is also the co-writer on Ape Entertainment's comic book adaptation of Nickelodeon and DreamWorks Animation's hit animated series The Penguins of Madagascar, also alongside Jackson Lanzing.
In addition to his work in comics, David works as an entertainment manager at Archetype, representing fellow comic book creators, directors and screenwriters. His clients include Darick Robertson (The Boys), Chris Kirby (Lost Squad), and Christopher E. Long (Hiding in Time), as well as directors Jarrett Lee Conaway and Adam Egypt Mortimer. David is attached as a producer to Warner Bros. feature film adaptation of Hiding in Time, and is currently developing several other projects for film and television.
