David Albright is an American author, best known for creating the young adult series, The Journals of Aiden Hunter.
David was born in Shelby, North Carolina. But as the son of a decorated U.S. Army serviceman, moved through much of his childhood calling such places as Aschaffenburg, Germany, Colorado Springs, Colorado, and San Antonio, Texas his home.
After high school, David joined the U.S. Navy where he deployed on the U.S.S. Tarawa (LHA-1) in support of Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm in the Persian Gulf. David completed two tours in the Pacific and one tour in the Atlantic before being honorably discharged after six years of service.
In 2005, David followed one of his dreams and became a U.S. National Park Ranger at Oregon Caves National Monument. He was always driven to write, but this particular area in the Pacific Northwest, gave him the inspiration to follow through on another dream and write his debut novel and first book in the series, The Marakata Shard.
David currently lives in Denver, Colorado and continues to write and enjoy the outdoors.
