Trained by WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels, Daniel Bryan competed on the indie wrestling circuit for 10 years. Honing his craft on multiple continents, Bryan became well-known for his hybrid of Japanese and American offensive styles that made good use of vicious elbow strikes, precision kicks, spine-jarring suplexes and various torturous submission maneuvers.
First coming to WWE as part of the inaugural season of WWE NXT, Daniel Bryan soon made it clear that he was destined for great things.
Eventually the determined Superstar’s efforts came full circle, when he captured his first championship in WWE from then-United States Champion The Miz, his former WWE Pro.
Daniel Bryan went on to win the Money In The Bank ladder match which secured him a match at the time of his choosing for the World Heavyweight Championship.
The pinnacle of Daniel Bryan’s career was achieved when he cashed in the Money In The Bank suitcase and pinned the Big Show to capture the World Heavyweight Championship at the TLC pay-per-view on December 18, 2011.
Daniel Bryan is a WWE Tag Team Champion with the “Big Red Monster” Kane. This odd couple partnership came about as a result of “anger management” therapy and is collectively known as “Team Hell No.”
