Mav Oya'la Clan represents Pennsylvania in the Mandalorian Mercs Costume Club. Founded in 2009, Mav Oya'la which means "free living" in Mando'a, sends members from all areas of the state to represent mandalorian culture at numerous events and charity causes.
The goal of Mandalorian Mercs is to provide a nexus for Mandalorian costumers, giving them a collective identity and representation within the Star Wars costuming community. We are passionate about the armor we wear, and use it not only to promote the Star Wars universe, but also to explore the evolution and implementation of the Mandalorian costume as it appeared in film and print.
The Mandalorian Mercs are recognized by LucasFilm LTD as the "Elite Mandalorian Costuming Organization".
Our table display will showcase Mandalorian prop armor and weapons from all eras of the Star Wars universe. We will be collecting funds for our charity, Little Warrior International, which helps impoverished children and their families in times of need. We will also be posing for photos, giving away trading cards and special surprises for the littlest mandalorians. Stop by our table for all the details.
