Action, Romance, & Bruce Campbell

There’s always a lot of action at Chicago Comic Con, but when Bruce Campbell shows up you have to multiply that number by 100. This panel, however, will probably live in history as one of the most epic panels ever. There was a tattoo contest hailing the best Evil Dead tattoo, some personal questions answered from the set of Burn Notice, but by far the best moment was when a super fan proposed to his girlfriend on-stage with the backing of Bruce Campbell.

The second best part, of course, is when she said yes. We also got some insight on the Evil Dead remake from Bruce himself, but the news wasn’t so good. Basically if you’re looking forward to seeing the original Ash resurrect his role, don’t expect it anytime soon. He wants to stay far away from that movie and far away from pain. We can’t blame him since right now he’s hanging out beachside in Miami as a super spy. It’s a pretty sweet deal as a retired zombie killer, but Wizard fans will never let Bruce live his zombie slaying days down.

The panel is available below and is making its way through the internet as a special moment in geekdom everywhere. See what we’re talking about right here!
